Physical Education (PE) in primary schools will be incorporated into "Internal School Assessment" and will be implemented starting from the second semester of Primary 5 in the 2026/27 academic year. The internal assessment for primary school PE focuses on students' healthy development, emphasizing foundational abilities and objective, achievable health ratings.

The Education Bureau is committed to promoting the "Active School, Active People" (ASAP) initiative.
